Steve D'Agostino

Steven D'Agostino- Steve D'Agostino is from the Bronx, NY and specializes in string pedagogy for the American music tradition. Steve performs on banjo, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, steel guitar in the many musical genres and styles that comprise the folk music repertoire. An avid bluegrass, old time and Klezmer musician, Steve has shared the stage and played with great performers in his field, Hankus Netsky (Klezmer Conservatory Band), Nate Olsen (fiddler), the Mammals, Bill Keith, Marty Ehrlich (Jazz performer), etc.  Steve also plays electric music, rock and roll, jazz, punk and free improvisational music, styles that continue to meld genres in our contemporary musical world. He just finished his MA in Music Education from Columbia University Teachers College and completed his B.A. in Music Education/Performance at Hampshire College.
